About the Position

Fusion Medical Staffing – Therapy is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Amarillo, Texas. The assignment starts ASAP and requires an 8‑hour daily shift, 40 hours per week.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Use a variety of physical‑therapy techniques and modalities to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment safely and effectively.
• Continuously assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and accurately document all evaluations, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other health‑care professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Engage in quality‑assurance initiatives and professional development activities to remain current with best practices.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients to community or home‑based settings.

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
• Physical therapy experience; new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong clinical skills, effective communication, critical thinking.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), and perform fine motor tasks.
• Mental preparedness to cope with frequent public contact and work under pressure.
