Title: Clinical Project Manager – Remote (10–20% Travel)

Type: Contract – Full-Time

Duration: 12 Months (with potential for extension)

Location: Remote (10-20% travel to Midwest)

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager to lead high-impact clinical initiatives for a major healthcare organization. This is a client-facing role focused on projects such as Patient Observer, Care Aware Connect, and Nursing Documentation Optimization. The role involves collaborating closely with internal PMO teams and external vendor stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the client-side Project Manager for clinical systems projects, particularly involving Power Chart and Care Aware.

Coordinate across internal and external teams to manage scope, timelines, and deliverables.

Lead change management efforts and facilitate stakeholder alignment.

Represent the client’s interests throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

Provide leadership in a unionized healthcare environment, emphasizing diplomacy and clear communication.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Project Manager in clinical healthcare IT environments.

Strong knowledge of Cerner Power Chart and/or Care Aware solutions.

Experience working with or alongside vendor delivery teams.

Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments professionally and tactfully.

PMP certification is preferred but not required.

Change management experience is highly valued.

Additional Info:

Full-time contract role.

Minimal travel required (10–20%, event-based).
