The City of Amarillo seeks a WIC Technician II/Peer Counselor to interview clients and determine eligibility for program benefits and to educate pregnant women about breastfeeding. You will assist new mothers with pumping techniques and maintain breastfeeding supplies.
Schedule appointments, respond to calls, and support WIC nutritionists with breastfeeding consultations. A high school diploma, valid Texas driver's license, and Spanish preferred are required for this role.
