** JOB SUMMARY
** Under the direction of the HR Director, the Human Resources Business Partner – Talent Strategy serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders by aligning workforce strategies with organizational objectives. This position partners closely with operational leadership to attract, develop, engage, and retain exceptional talent while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. The role integrates strategic talent acquisition, leadership development, workforce planning, employer branding, and university partnerships to support business growth and enhance the employee experience.
** ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
**** Strategic HR Business Partnership
*** Serve as the primary HR partner to operational leaders by providing strategic guidance on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, leadership coaching, employee engagement, and talent management.
* Partner with operational leaders on workforce planning initiatives.
* Provide strategic HR consultation aligned with business objectives.
* Analyze workforce trends and recommend proactive solutions.
* Support organizational planning and change initiatives.
* Build trusted partnerships across all levels of the organization.
** Talent Acquisition Strategy
*** Lead the organization’s recruiting efforts while developing long-term talent acquisition strategies that support current and future workforce needs.
* Lead full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions.
* Develop strategic sourcing initiatives and build proactive talent pipelines.
* Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies.
* Improve the candidate experience.
* Track recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, source effectiveness, and retention.
* Continuously improve recruiting processes and technology.
** University & Workforce Partnerships
*** Develop strategic partnerships that create sustainable talent pipelines and strengthen Bruckner’s presence within Universities, Technical schools and the communities we serve.
* Build relationships with universities, community colleges, technical schools, and workforce development organizations.
* Represent Bruckner’s at career fairs, networking events, and campus recruiting initiatives.
* Develop internship, apprenticeship, and early-career programs such as the BID program.
* Partner with faculty and career services departments to promote Bruckner’s career opportunities to emerging talent.
** Leadership Development
*** Develop leadership development programs and facilitate interview and hiring training.
* Support succession planning efforts.
* Assist managers in identifying high-potential employees.
* Develop onboarding strategies that improve long-term retention.
** Employer Branding
*** Strengthen Bruckner’s reputation as an employer of choice.
* Collaborate with Marketing on recruitment campaigns and enhance digital recruiting initiatives.
* Promote Bruckner’s through career fairs and community involvement.
* Develop employee ambassador initiatives.
* Strengthen military and skilled-trades recruiting.
* Increase brand awareness within target talent markets.
** HR Analytics & Workforce Planning
*** Utilize workforce data to drive strategic decision-making.
* Monitor turnover and retention and track recruiting performance.
* Analyze workforce trends and identify succession risks.
* Develop workforce planning recommendations.
* Present HR insights to leadership.## Qualifications
** POSITION REQUIREMENTS
**** Education & Experience
*** Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
* Seven or more years of progressive Human Resources experience.
* Experience in recruiting, employee relations, leadership coaching, organizational development, and workforce planning.
* Understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
* Multi-location HR experience preferred.
* Experience developing university partnerships and internship programs preferred.
* Transportation, industrial, manufacturing, or agriculture industry experience preferred.
** Travel
* ** This position requires approximately 20% travel.
