We are hiring Data Center Technicians (Levels I–IV) to support large-scale server and rack operations in a hyperscale data center environment. Technicians will be responsible for hardware lifecycle management, server maintenance, deployments, decommissions, and operational support following site energization. Senior-level technicians will also lead automation and orchestration initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability.
Responsibilities
Level I–II (Hardware Operations)
- Perform server break/fix, chip swaps, memory and component replacements.
- Rack, stack, cable, decommission, and recommission server hardware.
- Execute hardware refreshes, asset management, and equipment disposal.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and document completed work.
- Follow change management, operational, and safety procedures.
Level III–IV (Advanced Operations & Automation)
- Lead complex troubleshooting and infrastructure support activities.
- Manage large-scale deployments, migrations, and server lifecycle projects.
- Develop and maintain automation, orchestration, and operational tooling.
- Create process improvements, runbooks, and technical documentation.
- Mentor junior technicians and provide technical leadership.
Qualifications
Level I: 1+ year IT, hardware, or data center experience.
Level II: 2+ years of server support, break/fix, or infrastructure operations experience.
Level III: 4+ years of data center operations experience with scripting or automation exposure.
Level IV: 6+ years of infrastructure operations, automation, or engineering experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in hyperscale or enterprise data centers.
- Knowledge of server hardware, Linux, and Windows environments.
- Familiarity with Power Shell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar automation tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ideal candidates are comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment supporting large-scale server infrastructure and data center operations.
Compensation
: $20/hr to $65/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
