About the Role
Position based in our campus in Madison, WI, requiring relocation to the area.
At Epic, you will translate software strings, documentation, training materials, and European tenders while contributing to localization, quality assurance, and terminology management. Your language expertise will deliver clear, accurate translations for a global leader in electronic medical records.
Translation work is fast‑paced and varied, combining quick‑turnaround tasks with complex, long‑term projects. This role requires precision, motivation, and a willingness to learn, with opportunities to take ownership of meaningful work that supports Norwegian healthcare organizations.
Translators work with a high degree of autonomy and are responsible for managing key translation projects across Epic's clinical, administrative, registration, and billing products. You will collaborate closely with implementation and technical support teams to deliver high‑quality, innovative software.
LocationThe role is located just outside Madison, Wisconsin. Epic is located next to the University of Wisconsin and the state capital. Madison is known for its strong tech community.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or greater (any major)
- Relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
- Excellent knowledge of Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
- Experience translating from American English to Norwegian strongly preferred
- Ability to ensure translation maintains appropriate feeling, tone, and style
- Knowledge of Epic software is not required; we will train you
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- COVID‑19 vaccination mandatory
