The Field Service Technician is a unique opportunity to be the front line of Videojet’s customer interaction through daily service and support. You will install, repair, and maintain our advanced industrial equipment at customer sites while discussing service agreements and new products to drive sales growth. This entrepreneurial role allows you to work from home and commute to major manufacturing sites.

• Create and grow multiple aspects of our business by supporting regional and company goals.
• Improve customer satisfaction by delivering the highest level of service in our industry.
• Identify, own, and track any issues with an account according to call escalation procedures to reach resolution.
• Receive and utilize highly advanced technical training at customer accounts on a daily basis.
• Manage a customer account in its entirety and determine how Videojet can increase value throughout their business by offering other services.
• Support the team by travelling from Chicago to points east to provide additional coverage for short‑time gaps.

• Technical agility – experience in mechanical, electrical, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and computer hardware and software; a desire to work with best‑in‑class technology and learn new skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, from front line operators to senior management, while remaining professional at all times.
• Sense of urgency – drive and motivation to take action and prioritize daily tasks. Work strategically to ensure you reach every customer.
• Adaptability – quick, positive response to change.

• Technical degree preferred and/or relevant military training; other backgrounds welcome with relevant work history.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, lift, stretch, bend, and squat throughout the day.
• Comfortable with day travel; home most evenings but frequent overnight travel required.

US ONLY:
Salary range – $28.00–$30.00 USD per hour. The role is also eligible for incentive pay.
