Project Manager II, Project Manager III, Tolk Plant CT, Lariat Wind, Yellow Wind

• Provide end-to-end project management, leadership, and coordination for large complex projects or transformational project work streams
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, and risk
• Align financial and operational goals between projects and the business unit
• Direct work teams to achieve approved project scope
• Develop strategic sequencing and detailed milestone schedules
• Track and reconcile project-level costs
• Ensure adequate project resources are available
• Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and actuals tracking
• Facilitate RFP and contract management processes
• Review budget variances and recommend corrective action
• Ensure timely project closure, payment, and reconciliation
• Lead requirements gathering and planning with key stakeholders
• Develop solution designs defining project scope and secure required approvals
• Coordinate dependencies with other initiatives
• Define deliverables and delivery dates; develop work plans/WBS, milestone schedules, and cost/benefit estimates
• Independently manage detailed project plans and cross-functional tracking
• Identify plan gaps and develop closure plans
• Complete assigned project deliverables and milestones
• Manage internal and external resources, contracts, payments, and performance requirements
• Develop resource plans for matrixed teams
• Mentor and guide less experienced project team members
• Manage scope change requests
• Identify project risks and issues and create mitigation and contingency plans
• Communicate project status across all organizational levels
• Establish collaborative working relationships to maximize project efficiency, responsiveness, and resource allocation

• Minimum 8 years' work experience in operations, technology, finance, or comparable function
• Utility experience preferred
• BS in Engineering, Construction, Business, Information Technology, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5-7 years' experience in project management and process improvement
• Some formal project management training preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others; informal leadership experience and training skills preferred
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills required
• Understanding of core business processes and industry trends, with ability to interpret/apply ongoing changes
• Knowledge of project planning and business need justification process and methodology
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and work within a diverse, cross-functional team environment
• Vendor/contract management experience preferred
• Must adhere to cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices

Possesses strong communication and facilitation skills to engage stakeholders and drive project success.
