Position Summary

Position SummaryThe Upfit Assembler is responsible for installing, modifying, and assembling equipment components according to customer specifications, engineering drawings, and company quality standards. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical instructions in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Install and assemble upfit components, including but not limited to crane bodies, lighting, wiring, and specialty accessories
- Read and interpret work orders, schematics, drawings, and installation instructions
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and basic fabrication tasks as required
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure installations meet quality, safety, and customer specifications
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and functionality
- Troubleshoot and correct installation issues or defects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Document work completed and report issues to supervision
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in assembly and packaging roles preferred.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and assembly instructions.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
