Inventory​/Shipping - 2nd Shift - Amarillo Ground Beef

Caviness Beef Packers has been family owned and operated for over "60 Years" and is currently led by 2nd and 3rd generation family members. Since 1962, Caviness has remained one of the most relationship oriented companies in the beef industry. The business has grown from harvesting a handful of cattle, in the early days, to 2900 head processed each day. Today, the company operates two processing locations and markets products worldwide.

This position will require employee to perform duties in a cold/damp environment with temperatures of 45 degrees or less.

The department has various job duties ranging from paperwork, inventory, wrapping and loading.

Some duties may also required the use of a computer/scanner and the ability to prioritize work for efficiency.

Duties may included but will not be limited to:

• Must be able to stand for entire shift on concrete and/or elevated platforms
• Tolerate cold temperatures of 45 degrees or less
• Conduct an accurate nighty physical inventory of raw, finished, freezer and packing warehouses
• Must be attentive to the accuracy of all inventory and enter data into spreadsheets.
• Handle general paperwork such as picking lists, packing lists, bills of landing, seals, etc.
• Follow all food and safety protocols
• Must be able to lift 70+ lbs

• Must wear PPE
• Prior shipping / inventory experience required
• Forklift/pallet jack experience required
• Good work history
• Must be able to work 2nd shift hours
