General Description / Objective:
To plan, organize and control production in an organization to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard.

• Plans a production schedule for the job
• Implements and controls the production schedule
• Reviews and adjusts the schedule where needed
• Determines required resources (human and material)
• Manages human and material resources to meet production targets
• Makes decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement
• Works out and implements standard operating procedures for production operations
• Ensures that standard operating procedures are adhered to
• Ensures implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
• Sets product quality standards
• Monitors quality standards of products
• Implements and enforces quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
• Analyzes production and quality control to detect and correct problems
• Determines and implements improvements to the production process
• Prepares and maintains production reports
• Monitors and reviews the performance of staff and organizes necessary interventions for improvement
• Estimates production costs
• Sets production budgets
• Manages production budgets
• Implements cost control programs
• Ensures efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution and management

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four‑year college or university; or six (6) years direct related experience and/or training; or High School and related experience required.

Fluent in English

Solid computer skills

3‑5 years of Manufacturing Management

Considered competent for this job if they have at least 5 years of experience on similar processes/role.

• Working experience with SAP is highly desirable
• Bilingual (English-Spanish)
