We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA), part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.

This role is onsite in Amarillo, TX.

Receiving Inspection Team

This team is responsible for inspecting manufactured parts, assemblies, and materials includes performing Material Review Board (MRB) activities as needed.



What you’ll be doing as a Receiving Inspector:

  • Perform a variety of duties to inspect vendor manufactured parts, assemblies and materials, using drawings, tool designs, blueprints and inspection procedures.
  • Works from general instructions to perform duties requiring judgment to determine quality and conformity to specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain all necessary inspection records.
  • Assist in the preparation of various reports as directed.
  • Use a variety of precision measuring instruments such as Vernier’s, micrometers, height and dial gages
  • Perform MRB activity as required.
Skills You Bring To this Role:

  • HS Diploma or GED completed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to prioritize a variety of assignments.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
What You Need to be Successful:

  • At least 2+ years in a manufacturing or quality role at an aerospace, defense, or metal fabrication facility required.
  • Requires knowledge of mathematics, blueprints, lofts, materials and processes.
  • Familiarity with a variety of precision measuring instruments such as Vernier’s, micrometers, height and dial gages
  • Computer skills required. Microsoft Office proficiency experience required.
  • Experience with SAP, Enovia, CATIA and CAMS experience a plus.
  • A&P License preferred
Work shift is either 5-8 hour days, 4-10 hour days, possible weekend shifts and include possible 2nd shifts.

This role does not offer relocation assistance.
