General Production - HIDES​/TANNERY

Job Overview

Responsible for entry‑level non‑skilled general labor within the Hide/Tannery facility, maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying at least 75 pounds, as required.
• Work in extreme temperatures ranging from 40° to 90°F, in wet conditions.
• Use hands and arms above shoulder level, and stand 8–10 hours per day.
• Operate knives and hooks to trim hides or operate large pieces of equipment, and work with pork skins if necessary.
• Follow departmental start and end times, with some areas having staggered schedules.

Six days a week, Monday through Saturday. Shift details may vary by department.
