Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality and plant system integrity through comprehensive physical and visual inspections. This role requires accurate documentation and calculation of inspection results, and the ability to take corrective action when necessary. Key duties include alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting findings to management.
Additional assignments may be assigned as needed.
Requirements:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of +1-year experience in the Fresh Meats industry required or other QA meat processing type experience.
Communication
Skills:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Special
Skills:
The candidate must possess the ability to accurately complete Tyson paperwork and demonstrate leadership skills to effectively motivate the hourly workforce. Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in math and organizational abilities. The candidate should be able to read and interpret product specifications accurately and perform well under stress. Flexibility to work in different locations and at various times as needed is also required.
