About the Position
The Church at Quail Creek in Amarillo, Texas, is seeking a Senior Pastor to lead our multigenerational congregation with biblical conviction, spiritual maturity, and a heart for reaching the lost. We are a welcoming church family known for strong Life Group ministry, biblical preaching, and a renewed desire to impact our community with the gospel.
Qualifications- Deep authentic walk with God; prayerful, Spirit-led, and humble
- Models a healthy family life with integrity and teachability
- Preferred 5–20 years of pastoral ministry experience
- Master’s-level seminary degree preferred
- Deliver clear, engaging, Scripture-centered preaching
- Cast compelling vision and lead collaboratively with staff, trustees, deacons, and ministry teams
- Provide loving pastoral care and build relationships across generations
- Champion discipleship, mentoring, and community-focused evangelism
- Equip and empower leaders throughout the church
- Spirit-led and grounded in Scripture
- Relational, approachable, and a strong communicator
- Visionary leader with humility and courage
- Long-term commitment to Amarillo and TCQC
