Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program:
Aya Program - Ardent Health.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
All BSA contracts are 48 hours per week, although not guaranteed. In the first 8 weeks there cannot be more than 3 days of RTO requested. After those 8 weeks they are flexible. All travelers must be prepared to care for COVID patients if assigned.

Preferred skills and experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. Community Hospital Experience. MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Accessing/Managing Ports, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur Evac, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Oral suctioning, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Post Angiogram, Post cardiac surgery, Post MI, IV insulin protocols, Thyroidectomy, Bariatric surgery, Bowel obstruction, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Mood disorders, Substance Withdrawal, Traumatic Brain injury, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration
Required credentials: Government issued photo License/State ACLS must be AHA, RQI, ARC, or American Safety and Health Institute.
Shift & schedule requirements: 36 or 48 hour option. Every other weekend.
Special request requirements: No RTO on holidays. No travel pairs or groups
Unit and facility details: This unit is a mixture of med/surg and intermediate care patients.
3 days maximum time off
2 references from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - 1 required for submission
