Position: Nurse Manager / RN / Registered Nurse / Sign On Bonus / ACC / FT

Responsibilities

The Manager is responsible for ongoing, effective operations and the assessment and improvement of activities. The Manager oversees the internal functioning of the department, which facilitates the overall organization, and supports a culture of service excellence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develops, implements, and evaluates an age‑appropriate plan of care using the nursing process, clinical skills, and patient education.
  • Maintains professional behavior when addressing issues or conflicts, utilizing appropriate resources as needed.
  • Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, families, visitors, and employees.
  • Assesses risks to patient safety and implements appropriate precautions.
  • Complies with approved standards and accrediting agency requirements.
  • Follows safety and injury prevention standards to minimize risk to self, co‑workers, patients, and visitors.
Adult Critical Care Requirements
  • ACLS completion within 3 months.
  • TNCC certification.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure/permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
  • BSN required or must be completed within 2 years.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire or within 30 days of start date; maintain certification throughout employment.
  • Minimum of 2 years leadership experience preferred.
  • Appropriate clinical experience.
