Job Title: Travel RN Emergency Department
Employment: Travel Contract
Location: Amarillo, TX 79101
Setting: Acute Care Hospital / Emergency
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Contract Period: 13-week contract
Hours Guaranteed: 36 hours/week
Taxable Base Rate: $64.50 / $75.50 per hour
Shifts / AvailabilityShift Period: 19:00-07:30
Days: 3 x 12-hour shifts rotating
Key Responsibilities- Perform triage assessments and initiate treatment for all acuity levels
- Manage acute chest pain, stroke, and trauma protocols
- Administer emergency medications and titrate drips per physician orders
- Complete time‑critical EMR documentation
- Coordinate with specialist services and support patient disposition
Must-Have
- Active Texas RN licence or compact licence eligibility
- BLS and ACLS certifications current
- Minimum 2 years ED RN experience
- TNCC preferred but not required at application
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- TNCC or CEN certification
- Paediatric emergency experience
