Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Registered Nurse

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a Medical Surgical unit. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient needs, documenting care, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
• Document patient progress accurately using Epic electronic charting system.
• Monitor patients both in Med/Surg and telemetry units, ensuring safety and stability.
• Float to other units of equal or lesser acuity as needed, supporting department needs.
• Adhere to shift schedules, including 3×12 or 4×12 day shifts.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid, in-hand state or compact RN license.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry units.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Capable of completing onboarding modules within 4-6 hours onsite.
• Comply with travel and facility policies, including RTO and 50-mile radius rules.
