American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and TX or compact RN licensure.

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours (7:00 AM-5:00 PM) with a rotating day off
• Call responsibilities required
• Uses Epic charting system
• Supports a variety of surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, urology, gynecology, vascular, thoracic, ENT, and endoscopic procedures
• Trauma surgical experience is preferred

• Active TX or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Former staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Core onboarding items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Orientation includes onsite completion of required training modules
