Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN requiring recent acute care experience and a TX or compact RN license.

• Active TX or compact RN license required, no pending licenses accepted
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
• BSN highly desired
• Current certifications required: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS (AHA only)
• Recent acute care experience required
• Minimum two years of prior work experience in a US hospital in the cath lab specialty required

• Work in the cath lab or EP lab depending on department needs
• Performs emergency and elective angioplasty and provides therapies such as drug-eluting stents, electrophysiology, and pacemaker implantation
• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
• Cath lab call required
• Performs a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with current licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements
• Fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
