Travel Surgical Tech​/ORT - CST FA

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical First Assistant experienced in cardiovascular procedures for a hospital surgical services position.

• 1-2 years of experience required
• Comfortable performing vein harvesting for CABG procedures
• Experience assisting in on and off pump CABG procedures, VATs, and valve replacements
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Current valid State RN License required at time of consideration
• License required if applicable

• Hospital surgical services unit specializing in cardiovascular procedures
• Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off
• Call coverage required
• Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular procedures including CABG, VATs, and valve replacements
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Former staff members must have been separated from employment for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved, and no time off is permitted during the first week of orientation
