Retail Display Installer – Technology

Location:

Travel up to 90 miles from home on average. Paid drive time & mileage reimbursement.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday. Weekends are not required (although some early‑morning or weekend assignments may be necessary).

Role

2020 Companies is looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated Field Service Representative to represent leading brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. In this role you’ll execute a wide range of in‑store tasks, including installing and updating sales floor fixtures and endcaps; performing buildouts, resets, and display repairs; and following planograms and client‑specific directives. You’ll work independently, meet deadlines, and use mobile applications and technology to complete assignments efficiently and professionally.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for managing store‑level relationships and ensuring top‑quality execution on every project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to field services management—within 24 hours of contact
  • Keep availability updated and accurate
  • Fully complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixtures
  • Complete necessary forms, images, and surveys before leaving a job site
  • Maintain and update displays according to planograms and client requests
  • Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures are fully functional
  • Participate in early‑morning installations and team installations (2+ people) and provide solution feedback
  • Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines
  • Assist other team members as needed to achieve collective success
  • Adhere to timelines for accurate timecard submission and report anomalies daily with needed corrections
  • Work independently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Participate in training and certification programs
  • Track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems and workflows
  • Remain available for weekend assignments as required
Schedule / Planning
  • Hours and locations may vary week to week, including occasional weekends and early‑morning hours; some holiday work may be required based on store/client needs
  • Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt
Relationship Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shared services teams, local/regional markets, clients, retailers, and other stakeholders
  • Foster collaboration and open communication with internal teams and field representatives
Leadership & Cross‑Functional Work
  • Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and strong leadership while representing the company
  • Set a high standard for behavior, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring respectful communication with all team members
  • Work across all aspects of the company and through cross‑functional processes to ensure alignment and operational success
Customer & Client Satisfaction
  • Continuously improve customer and client satisfaction according to established shared‑service field KPIs as determined by field management
  • Remain open to providing and receiving feedback
Qualifications Age / Eligibility
  • Must be 18 or older (due to insurance requirements)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
Availability
  • Flexible availability Monday through Friday
  • Weekend and holiday availability as needed
  • Early‑morning and late‑night availability as required
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period
Physical Abilities
  • Climb a ladder up to 10 feet in height
  • Safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, handle/grasp, and reach overhead
Adaptability
  • Adjust to the ever‑changing variety of tasks and work environments
Communication Skills
  • Effective communication via phone, text, and email for task coordination and updates
  • Use a smartphone for clocking in/out, capturing and uploading photos, downloading applications, and connecting to the internet
  • Rapid, consistent communication with field services management, typically within 24 hours
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent (typically required)
  • Previous retail or merchandising experience beneficial but not mandatory
