Position Summary

Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members, following recipes and preparing our always warm, ready rotisserie chicken. They will properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure the freshest items are available for members to take home. These associates juggle multiple tasks, assist members with bakery orders, and provide a smile that sets the tone for a great shopping experience.

You'll Do
  • Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with the team; and adapt to business needs and work in other areas.
  • Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.
  • Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  • Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date-control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and attend to customer needs; assist customers per company policies.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club; value the member's experience in the meat area; model high-quality service and products; execute basics at the highest level; and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; recommend improvement opportunities; and adapt to change.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure high-quality products are available in the prepared foods area.
  • Keep shelves clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lower-quality food.
  • Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food.
  • Maintain the sales floor in accordance with company policies, handling claims and returns; zone the area; arrange and organize merchandise; and identify shrink and damages.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area.
Minimum Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.

I acknowledge that the position requires successful completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed period.

Preferred Qualifications

Food Service:
Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) – Certification.
