As the Outreach Benefits Advisor
, you play a pivotal role in driving patient growth within your designated market. Your main responsibilities include establishing and nurturing relationships with key lead and referral sources in the community, converting leads into patients, and educating them about the benefits available through the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) and Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA). You’ll be proactive in signing new service agreements and adept at navigating paperwork processes.
Serving as a knowledgeable resource on company services, you’ll offer tailored guidance to potential claimants and clients, serving as their initial point of contact and assisting them throughout the eligibility process. Meeting monthly quotas set by management is a key expectation in this sales role, which is centered on outreach, prospecting, and lead generation.
Relationship-Centered Sales Success
- At least 2 years of experience in consultative or relationship-based sales, ideally within Home Health
, Department of Labor (DOL) programs
, or other service-oriented industries. - Proven track record of success by building long-term trust with clients
, not just closing deals.
Trusted Communicator
- Ability to build rapport with a unique audience - many of whom are retired or disabled energy workers seeking support and clarity.
- Empathetic listener who can explain complex benefit programs in simple, respectful terms.
Phone & CRM Experience
- Confident and professional in phone-based outreach, with experience using CRM tools and call center systems to manage and nurture client relationships.
In-Person Engagement & Community Presence
- Comfortable meeting with individuals or small groups at events, union halls, or local community gatherings.
- Understands the power of face-to-face interaction in developing trust and credibility.
Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Strong written and verbal skills, with a natural ability to connect on a human level
