Role Description

The Market Manager will be responsible for the sales and marketing of construction aggregates in the North Texas Area. They will maintain relationships with current customers and develop relationships with new customers. The Market Manager will create and execute a commercial strategy aimed at growing the value we deliver to our customers and the margins we earn from our products. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position will have wide latitude and responsibility for delivering strong commercial performance and must function well independently and feel ownership for the results of the business.

Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in construction materials, building products, or a related industrial sector.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships, including negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Proficiency with standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Office & Google suite).
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, project cycles, and specifications is strongly preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding territory; valid driver’s license

The Market Manager will primarily be working on the road conducting off-site customer visits and visiting job sites. As such, the position may require periods of work in all weather conditions. On occasion, there may be exposure to dust from operations or a loud environment while at the production facility. The position may require working early mornings or late afternoons, traveling for training or entertainment.

While not frequent, it is possible to need to work on Saturdays.
