Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities throughout the Amarillo market through networking, prospecting, relationship-building, and community engagement.
- Generate leads and build relationships with Healthcare organizations and medical providers, Construction companies and contractors, Corporate and industrial employers, Government and military-related organizations, Relocation and temporary housing providers, Insurance housing and disaster-relief programs, Educational institutions and local organizations.
- Conduct outside sales calls, networking events, property tours, and community outreach activities.
- Prospect new accounts through phone calls, email campaigns, referrals, social networking, and in-person visits.
- Support occupancy growth through development of extended-stay business and long-term lodging contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Work closely with the General Manager and Regional Sales Leadership to execute sales strategies and achieve revenue goals.
- Respond to leads and requests for proposals (RFPs) in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records within CRM and sales tracking systems.
- Track account performance, room-night production, and pipeline activity.
- Monitor local market trends and competitor activity.
- Participate in Chamber of Commerce events, networking groups, business associations, and community activities.
- Conduct property tours and presentations showcasing Everhome Suites' unique extended-stay offerings.
- Represent ARK Hospitality and Everhome Suites with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Minimum of five years of sales, business development, account management, or relationship-management experience.
- At least two years of hotel sales experience, preferably within a branded hotel environment.
- At least one year of sales leadership or senior account-management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business, build a sales pipeline, negotiate agreements, and close opportunities.
- Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales, revenue, occupancy, or account-production goals.
- Strong relationship-building, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable conducting in-person prospecting, cold calling, phone outreach, email campaigns, networking, and community engagement.
- Ability to interpret market data, sales reports, hotel performance metrics, and account-production information.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, opportunities, deadlines, and follow-up activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using CRM, hotel sales, or account-management systems.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel throughout the local market for business development.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with property and regional leadership.
- Director of Sales, Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, or hospitality business-development experience.
- Extended-stay hotel sales experience.
- Experience with Choice Hotels, Everhome Suites, Wood Spring Suites, Main Stay Suites, Residence Inn, Home2 Suites, Homewood Suites, Towne Place Suites, Staybridge Suites, or Candlewood Suites.
- Familiarity with healthcare, construction, government, military, corporate, relocation, insurance, or project-based lodging accounts.
- Knowledge of the Amarillo market and existing relationships with local businesses, employers, community organizations, or travel decision-makers.
- Experience using hotel sales systems, CRM platforms, CVENT, Delphi, Salesforce, or comparable tools.
- Working knowledge of ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, market share, forecasting, booking pace, and revenue-management principles.
- Experience partnering with hotel operations, revenue management, ownership, and regional sales leadership.
- Annual salary of $50,000 - $55,000
