As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Amarillo, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people‑first role, you will support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, agile approach while assisting with daily site needs and incident response.

Pay Rate: $15.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 05:00 PM – 11:30 PM;
Thur 11:00 AM – 05:00 PM;
Fri 05:00 PM – 11:30 PM;
Sat 05:00 PM – 11:30 PM;
Sun 04:00 PM – 11:30 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access to designated areas and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and providing a visible presence during business hours and/or closing procedures.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
