• Make scheduled rounds inside and outside of the building to maintain a secure environment.
• Schedule and conduct all fire and disaster drills for each shift and keep accurate detailed logs.
• Maintain security records, including safety inspections, repair needs of equipment, unusual circumstances, and service requests, and ensure all safety equipment is in good working order.
• Respond to all fire alarms and emergency calls and notify appropriate team members as necessary.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of all life safety systems.
• Maintain a daily guard report of the shift and provide detailed explanations of occurrences, ensuring that information shared between shifts is accurate.
• Ensure all guests, team members, residents, and vendors enter and exit the community and building through the appropriate entrances and exits, providing identification as requested.
• Perform light maintenance as needed (e.g., changing light bulbs, unclogging toilets/drains).
• Transport residents and/or team members on and off the property as needed.
• Deliver packages to residents and distribute in‑house mail.
• Greet residents and guests, assist with luggage, and park and retrieve resident vehicles.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to three years of applicable experience.
• A state‑issued driver’s license with a driving record clear of infractions as defined by current insurance mandates.
