The City-of-Amarillo is seeking a Utility Maintenance Mechanic who will perform semi-skilled tasks for servicing and maintaining equipment in well fields, pumping facilities, and storage tanks. Responsibilities include assisting in repairs, utilizing hand tools, and maintaining safety standards. Candidates must have a High School Diploma and a valid driver's license. The position requires shift work and the ability to respond to emergencies.
A Class 'D' Water Operators License must be obtained within a year of hire.
