Equipment Technician Specialist

Job Description

The Equipment Technician Specialist will install and repair commercial beverage and dish machines and chemical dispensing equipment for commercial dish machines, laundry machines, sinks, mop sinks, and related equipment. They assist District Sales Representatives in selling chemical and beverage programs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform duties by following company safety standards and wearing appropriate safety equipment.
• Provide installation and emergency service to Ben
  
  E. Keith chemical and beverage customers.
• Record maintenance and repair work performed on equipment.
• Instruct customers on operation, care, and emergency service procedures.
• Install plumbing required to operate commercial dish machines and beverage equipment.
• Maintain and organize stocks of parts used in on‑site installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Manage and schedule installation and emergency service calls.
• Survey and provide list of Keith clean chemicals, dish machines, tables, and related equipment for new account openings or conversion of existing accounts.
• Assist in sales meetings, food shows, and presentations, promoting chemical and beverage business.
• Participate in other projects as assigned.

• Two to Five years of installation and repair of commercial beverage and dish machines experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; driving to different locations.
• Ability to speak to small and large groups to convey information effectively.
• Make decisions with supervision.
• Regularly required to use hands, fingers, feel or reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move more than 90 pounds.
• Vision: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• High School diploma or GED required.
