Responsibilities
  • Move and load vehicles with a company‑provided front‑end loader or forklift.
  • Maintain documentation of vehicle movement around the facility.
  • Conduct daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and document the condition of the assigned machine.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company guidelines for safe loader operation.
  • Offer solutions to meet customers’ needs and facilitate the Copart experience.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts.
  • Assist with maintenance of company equipment and vehicles.
  • Record vehicle information accurately and legibly.
  • Operate a digital camera or other basic vehicle documentation and tracking devices.
  • Set up the yard for auctions within company timelines.
  • Provide service to customers as needed and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
  • Follow yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.
  • One year of loader or forklift experience; certification preferred.
  • Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and high integrity.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment.
  • Multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Occasional overtime as needed.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Must pass training and safety requirements.
