Responsibilities

  • Performs routine and preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment, including HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work, pertaining to minor building maintenance and remodeling.
  • Listens, follows, and executes duties given by supervisor.
  • Documents and finalizes maintenance requests as needed.
  • Moves various equipment, furniture, etc.
  • Safely operates, manages and maintains facilities, tools and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • General HVAC and maintenance skills, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other physical functions in accordance with standard operating procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies.
  • General knowledge and understanding of building heating, air conditioning, and ventilating equipment, along with related utilities and controls.
  • Ability to work in the construction, erection, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures.
  • Responsibilities include the knowledge and capability to work with a team in the construction, alteration, repair, and maintenance of equipment, furnishings, and various other structures and fixtures.
  • Ability to use and operate a computer.
  • Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. Possess and maintains a valid driver s license.
Pay Statement

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website.
