You will serve as a critical technical expert, driving the successful execution of large-scale commercial, industrial, and federal HVAC installations. This role allows you to showcase your advanced sheet metal and ductwork skills while executing high-quality builds for a family‑owned company that truly values your long‑term career growth. HowYou Will Make An Impact
- Execute complex commercial sheet metal fabrication and ductwork installations in strict accordance with blueprints and technical specifications.
- Manage daily field operations to ensure HVAC mechanical projects are delivered safely and on schedule.
- Coordinate with project managers and site superintendents to maintain strict project timelines and material efficiency.
- Maintain accurate daily documentation regarding project progress and quality control standards.
- Resolve real‑time technical challenges and air distribution issues on site to maximize HVAC system performance.
- Mentor and guide junior apprentices in the field to foster a culture of professional growth and safety.
- Proven experience as a sheet metal journeyman or duct installer executing complex commercial or industrial HVAC work.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed mechanical drawings, architectural layouts, and duct specifications.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for specific project assignments as required by the business.
- Strong communication and organizational skills necessary for managing field installations and team dynamics.
- Advanced capability to work independently with minimal oversight while meeting tight installation schedules.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in the mechanical and HVAC trade.
- Demonstrated experience in mentorship or training junior team members in a field environment.
- Advanced knowledge of industrial ventilation systems and specialized federal or government installations.
