Electrician - Per Diem Offered

We are seeking experienced commercial electricians for a long-term construction project in Amarillo, TX.

This project offers approximately 18 months of steady work for qualified candidates. Work is Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Pay is $43/hour with a per diem of $100/day worked.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8+ years of commercial electrical experience
• Must possess a valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) Apprentice Card
• Journeyman-level skills and experience on commercial construction projects
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to take daily work assignments and complete tasks without constant oversight
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record

Required commercial electrical skills:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications
• Installing EMT, RMC, PVC, and other raceway systems
• Conduit bending using hand and power benders
• Pulling and terminating wire and cable
• Installing electrical panels, switch gear, transformers, and distribution equipment
• Installing lighting systems and lighting controls
• Installing receptacles, switches, and branch circuits
• Running underground and above-ground electrical systems
• Performing equipment rough-in and final trim work
• Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements
• Troubleshooting electrical systems and identifying issues
• Working safely around energized and de-energized systems
• Experience with commercial construction environments and jobsite safety requirements
