Fiber Technician

• Install and troubleshoot all Metro Net services from the terminal to Customer Premise Equipment (CPE).
• Provide in‑depth customer education on all Metro Net products and services.
• Earning commissions by explaining Metronet services and products to customers.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers and fellow associates.
• Work toward meeting key performance metrics.
• Other job‑related duties as requested, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with a telecom/fiber company is preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to work from a kneeling or standing position for long periods.
• Ability to work in various conditions, including attics, crawl spaces, and adverse weather.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 25 feet with appropriate safety equipment.
• Able to lift and carry loads of up to 75 lbs, including a ladder.
• Ability to work with basic hand tools and specialized equipment with training.
• Operate and maintain company vehicle/equipment safely and professionally.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to work as a team and independently.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Perform on‑call rotation duties after regular business hours.
• Availability to work overtime, including holidays and weekends.
• Availability to travel for training or as needed.
