The City of Amarillo is hiring a Mechanic Apprentice to service and repair city vehicles and equipment. Starting pay is $17.05 per hour plus a $3,000 annual tool allowance, with evening and weekend hours expected as essential personnel.
Under supervision, you will learn by hands-on and classroom training, perform tune-ups, oil changes, and minor repairs, and maintain records. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a Texas driver’s license.
