• Install, terminate, and test various types of cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic cabling
• Installation of various equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to determine installation requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network cabling and connectivity.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inventory.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all installation activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally.
• Stay informed about the latest technology and industry trends to improve skills and knowledge.
• Some out of town work may be required.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in cabling installation and network configuration (1-3 years preferred).
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, and wireless technologies.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices (e.g., TIA/EIA standards, CAT5e/CAT6 cabling).
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and specialized equipment for cabling work.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and work flexible hours as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfort working in various environments, including tight spaces, elevated areas, and outdoor settings.
