Licensed Journeyman Electrician - Per Diem Offered
We are seeking experienced Commercial Journeyman Electricians for a long-term construction project in Amarillo, TX. This project offers approximately 18 months of steady work for qualified candidates. Work is Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Pay is $43/hour with a per diem of $100/day worked.
Requirements:
Minimum 8+ years of commercial electrical experience. Must possess a valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) Journeyman Card. Experience on commercial construction projects. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to take daily work assignments and complete tasks without constant oversight. Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
Required Commercial Electrical
Skills:
Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications. Installing EMT, RMC, PVC, and other raceway systems. Conduit bending using hand and power benders. Pulling and terminating wire and cable. Installing electrical panels, switch gear, transformers, and distribution equipment. Installing lighting systems and lighting controls. Installing receptacles, switches, and branch circuits. Running underground and above-ground electrical systems. Performing equipment rough-in and final trim work.
Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements. Troubleshooting electrical systems and identifying issues. Working safely around energized and de-energized systems. Experience with commercial construction environments and jobsite safety requirements.
