Texas Panhandle Centers is seeking a Clerk (1420) to deliver trauma-informed care and clerical support functions in the Family & Youth Diversion program for clients across Amarillo and the surrounding service area of the Texas Panhandle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful trauma-informed care language.
  • Maintaining the front desk at TPC's Children's Behavioral Health department.
  • Schedule appointments and answer phone calls.
  • Complete financial assessments and assist families when accessing services within the program.
  • Work with team members to ensure all data components are completed.
  • Organize daily tasks to support the required grant measures within the program.
  • Adhere to TPC Business Code of Conduct and report concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised.
Qualifications & Credentials:
  • High School Diploma or GED
    .
  • One semester (12 credit hours) of accredited college work, OR a minimum of 8 th grade reading comprehension level as evidenced by a qualifying score on the Adult Basic Learning Examination (ABLE).
  • 6 months of clerical work experience.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Employees may be required to utilize their personal mobile phones for two-factor authentication (2FA). Full statement can be found in Informational Documents .
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
