Route Sales​/Delivery Driver - CDL

Reliant Dry Ice is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to safely and efficiently deliver dry ice in various forms to meet our customer's needs. This is a Monday thru Friday position with some weekend work. Requirements:
Must be 21 or older, CDL Class A or B, Manual Endorsement. forklift experience and/or electric pallet jack, working safe, lifting up to 70 lbs. at a time regularly throughout the day, hardworking organized, customer service skills, willing to work overtime and weekends when needed.

Summary:

Drives truck over established route to deliver and sell products or render services and makes change by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (includes the following but other duties may be assigned)

Drives truck to deliver CO2 to customers

Installs CO2 and performs maintenance.

Records sales or deliveries information on daily sales or delivery record.

Calls on prospective customers to solicit new business. Informs regular customers of new products or services.

Listens to and resolves service complaints. Collects or picks up empty containers.

Loads truck.

Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.

Cleans inside of truck.

Schedules routine maintenance on truck.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Order processing systems.

Driver's License - CDL Class A with Hazmat Tanker Endorsement.
