The City of Amarillo is seeking a Disposal Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment for waste disposal at the landfill. Responsibilities include compaction of refuse, performing maintenance on equipment, and ensuring a clean work environment.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with at least one year of relevant experience in heavy equipment operation and a valid Texas Class C Driver's License.
