As a key representative of Airgas, the delivery driver contributes to the safe and efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company‑provided tractor‑tanker or box truck. The position involves loading, unloading, and returning cylinders while frequently interacting with customers.
Compensation and Benefits- Pay: $27 per hour

- Work schedule:

- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders and supplies
- Maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers
- Support deliveries in a timely manner
- Safely secure and unsecure cylinders
- Complete deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart; physically active, hands‑on nature of the position
- Valid TX Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Valid Medical Examiner's Card
- Hazmat and airbrake certifications
- One year of prior Class A or B professional driving experience within the last five years, with a commitment to road safety (no more than two convictions or at‑fault accidents in the last three years)
- Graduates with a diploma from an accredited driving school and at least one year of driving experience within the last five years are welcome
- Age 21 or older
- Proficiency in navigating and interpreting material safety data sheets
- Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs.; occasionally lift 76 to >125 lbs. with material handling equipment
- Comfortable operating vehicles with hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending required
- Availability for occasional overtime if necessary
- Ability to obtain and maintain safety credentials for customer site access
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery (forklift, Moffett)
