Caviness Beef Packers, LTD is a progressive beef packer and further processor whose products are marketed through a variety of food service and retail channels.

Caviness Beef Packers has been family owned and operated for over 60 Years and is currently led by 2nd and 3rd generation family members. Since 1962, Caviness has remained one of the most relationship oriented companies in the beef industry. The business has grown from harvesting a handful of cattle, in the early days, to 2900 head processed each day. Today, the company operates two processing locations and markets products worldwide.

As a CDL Driver - Amarillo Ground Beef, you'll keep product moving by operating heavy equipment and following all Caviness Beef Packers policies and procedures to maintain a safe, high-performing work environment.

• Continuously shuttling trailers in and out of the loading dock
• Traveling back and forth between plants to support steady flow

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and finish work on schedule
• Reports to the truck shop supervisor
• Strong, consistent work history

Your shift runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with the occasional Saturday. Expect constant motion-stepping in and out of the truck again and again, moving between docks and plants, and staying alert as trailers cycle through. The work is physical: you'll spend long stretches on hard floors (10-12 hours), mixing standing and walking with bending, stretching, reaching, pushing and pulling. You'll also climb and handle lifts up to 70 lbs as the pace stays steady and the day stays active.
