Job Summary
Purpose and Scope:
The Warehouse Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders, and supporting the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations.

- Parts Pulling
- Efficiently and accurately pull parts from inventory based on work orders or pick lists.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill specific project or production requirements.
- Requires traveler documentation and ASME certifications.
- Inventory Management
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing incoming inventory.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in reconciling any discrepancies.
- Communicate inventory levels and stock needs to the Warehouse Lead or Warehouse Manager.
- Order Fulfillment
- Work closely with production and assembly teams to fulfill parts requirements for manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate order shipments and loading of finished goods.
- Assist in preparing parts for outbound shipments, including packaging and labeling.
- Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory movements, parts pulled, and order fulfillments.
- Generate and update reports as required by the Warehouse Lead and Warehouse Manager.
- Quality Control
- Inspect pulled parts for quality and accuracy before releasing them for production or shipment.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the Warehouse Lead or Warehouse Manager for resolution.
- Organization and Cleanliness
- Keep the parts storage area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards.
- Implement and follow 5S principles to optimize the efficiency of the parts-pulling process.
- Communication
- Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Lead, Warehouse Manager, and other team members.
- Collaborate with colleagues to address any issues related to parts availability or inventory discrepancies.
- Specific Tasks for Position
- Pull raw materials and controlled items for individual unit builds.
- Stage packed bins assemblies in “Holding Area” awaiting release to Production personnel.
- Receive all raw materials and items into inventory.
- Use company software to perform day‑to‑day tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in inventory management is a plus. - Proven experience in inventory control, parts pulling, or a related field.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret part numbers and specifications.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Familiarity with safety regulations in warehouse setting.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using inventory management software.
Employee is regularly required to talk or listen. Frequently required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be capable of safely operating a forklift and maintaining all required certifications for forklift use.
