Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd Shift

SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations in a food manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient inventory management, compliance with food safety standards, and timely distribution of goods.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Audit accurate records of stock movements using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Prepare reports on inventory, shipping, and receiving activities.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, Good Manufacturing Practices, Federal Drug Administration (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FDA).
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to meet operational goals.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory or shipments.
• Assist & supervise warehouse staff with training, scheduling, and warehouse activities.
• Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to meet hygiene standards.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS &

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in logistics/supply chain is a plus.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in food manufacturing
• Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience required.
• Computer proficiency, with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office, Labor Management Systems, and Materials Management Systems, preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and warehouse best practices.
• Forklift and other warehouse equipment certifications are required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:

• Required to maneuver plant and warehouse work spaces which involve:
• Frequently standing, walking, sitting, talking, or hearing,work around loud machinery and moving parts
• Continually utilize hand and finger dexterity, continually exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather)
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, exposed to outside weather conditions, and push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds safely
