Electrician Apprentice

Electrician Apprentice – American Falls,

Assist journeyman level electrician in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: support technicians in repairing motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), control panels, and transformers.
• Installation: install conduit, cable trays, wire, and electrical components according to schematics.
• Preventive Maintenance: perform routine inspections to detect faults in electrical systems.
• Safety Compliance: adhere to OSHA standards and Lockout/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Documentation: complete work orders and update maintenance logs.

• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with hand/power tools
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights
• Enrolled in or willing to enroll in a formal apprenticeship program

Pay Rate: $29.30 per hour (approximate).
