Under the direction of the Supervisory Staff, the Logistics Technician performs loading and unloading of trucks and rail cars, operates warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, dock locks, pallet conveyor systems, scanners, WMS, and TMS, handles finished goods pallets into racking systems, cycles counts, manages inventory, maintains housekeeping and sanitation, conducts maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous skill development. The technician ensures optimum warehouse efficiency while following hygienic zoning protocols and company policies.

• Act as a role model in following company policies and procedures.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment in a base condition.
• Participate in root cause analysis exercises and use available tools for identification.
• Support all assigned warehouse tasks, including preventive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and mark materials with identifying information.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or designated areas.
• Sort and place items on racks by size, type, or product code.
• Verify product placement during receiving using inbound receiving notes.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Drive forklift to transport items within the warehouse, to the plant, truck, or railcar.
• Work any shift or day of the week, including weekends, and may be required for overtime.

• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs with team lifting.
• Experience operating, maintaining, and cleaning automated equipment.
• Strong technical, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with essential material handling equipment (e.g., clamp truck, forklift, hand trucks).
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.

• Forklift certification or willingness to train for certification.
• Experience with WMS/TMS and inventory systems.

Manual handling of 50‑100 lbs; use hand and power tools; climb and work on stairs, ladders, and platforms; work in confined spaces; stand on concrete floors for extended periods.

Technicians may work any shift, including weekends. Shifts typically 12 hours per day with possible overtime.
