Manifestor Trainee Location

Responsible for correctly entering data and producing tickets for all production transactions using a computer program and equipment across production, cold storage warehouse, and dry supplies.

• Maintain safe work practices at all times and participate in safety programs.
• Identify and accurately count product and enter data into a computer program to generate accurate reporting and tickets for the plant.
• Operate computer terminal keyboard to enter data and produce tickets for inbound/outbound bulk, inbound dry storage materials, and waste product.
• Coordinate with lab personnel for proper dispositioning of held product.
• Frequently communicate with Team Leaders, lift operators, tote room attendants, and other team members.
• Follow detailed instructions.
• Collect all required paperwork at end of shift and submit to warehouse for filing.
• Learn or have knowledge of lot numbers, catalog numbers, cut style, blending requirements and impacts.
• Ensure proper ticketing and coding of all product using the manifest accounting system.
• Set priorities with minimal supervision.
• Perform any other task as directed by the Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Lead, or Team Leaders.
• Provide breaks to fellow workers as directed by the Team Leader.
• Assist as needed in normal packaging duties such as rework and cleanup.
• May be required to work in cold temperatures for short periods of time.
• Capable of meeting the functions of a package laborer.
• Train other potential manifestors.
• Prepare and generate reports including bay transfers, rework, blending, waste reports, bulk reports, and end‑of‑shift reports.

Previous experience is not required, but preferred experience includes record keeping, computer usage, and lab experience to fully understand quality and blending impacts.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to write accurate information on simple forms in English.
• Ability to effectively present or listen to information in one‑on‑one and small group situations with all other employees of the organization in English.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
• Ability to use Excel.

• The area location is in part of cold storage and the palletizing area.
• Working conditions may include extreme cold, dust, constant vibrating noise from the freezer, and confined areas.
