Aboutthe Role
As King & McCleary continues to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Manager to join our American Fork, UT based firm. This role involves tax compliance, providing strategic tax planning, and ensuring that all tax practices adhere to both local and federal regulations.

- Prepare tax returns utilizing Lacerte, including but not limited to Individual, C-Corp, S-Corp, and partnership returns with minimal to no supervision.
- Manage client relationships, including client contact, coordination with clients, and preparation timing for small and medium sized engagements.
- Collaborate with leadership in coordinating large client engagements, identification of problems, and providing solutions.
- Assist with tax planning, tax compliance, and on-boarding of new clients while maintaining quality client relationships.
- Identify opportunities to attract new clients and market the company's services and products and facilitate expansion of business with existing clients.
- 8+ years of Tax experience
- Master’s Degree in Accounting preferred (or relevant years of experience)
- Experience with leading tax software and bookkeeping software (Lacerte, Quick Books)
- Knowledge of Federal, State and Local tax codes and regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate with staff and clients
- Active CPA license
- Experience with Lacerte and Quick Books
- Proven experience with client and/or staff management
